Good Morning,

Funny thing, Good morning.  I never said that before.   But it feels so good to wish someone a good morning.  
I am starting to appreciate every word I hear and say.  I just took it for granted before.  So, I did my "smudging" yesterday.   I have to tell you,  it felt a little weird.  Like voodoo weird.   I had to look in the mirror a couple of times and make sure I wasn't growing a pointy nose or growing a broom stick from my ars.......  My son came running out of his room screaming, "what's that smell"!!!!  I just looked at him with my arms out like they do in yoga, (I think) and said, "This house is clean"!!!
       Not sure if I really feel anything after the smudging but at least I didn't burn the house down with all the ashes it left behind.   It's going to be a beautiful day today.   I hope everyone can get out and it enjoy it while it lasts.

Good Morning!!

Well, I have had a rough couple of days to say the least.   I want to share with you a very inspiring letter I received this morning.   This letter got me out of bed today. :)

Good morning!!! Cant believe summer is over.. Its so beautiful out today, try to get out and enjoy it. Do the things that bring you happiness today Sue. Like sitting near the water, when the crowds are gone.. Love yor writings on your blog btw.. You are a good writer.. Funny too. This is your life, and only yours. You control every single aspect of it. Picture yourself, for real, as the captain of your boat, stirring it through a bad storm. There is only one essential thing you need to get through it. And that is a compass. A clear focus on where to turn next.  Paying attention to where that dial is taking you.  And there are many routes.. But a wise captain knows where to find safety for his crew. Listen to your heart, and guide with the good common sense God gave you. This storm will pass, thats the lovely thing about time. It heals as the hands go by us. What we do with that precious time is up to the captain,  Shine your pretty boat when it comes to shore.. Smile when you put up your sails for all to see. Show the world how fabulous YOU are!!!!! My precious susie..  There is so much wonderfulness ahead of you. Open your sails, launch up the crew, and set sail, for the most important adventure of your life!!! Embrace this time, inhale, breathe it out slowly, and Let it be, and let it unfold naturally. Do not resist..

Good Morning,
     I had my therapy session with an amazing woman.   With every session, I feel a little bit stronger.   She recommend an amazing book that I just recently finished called., How to heal a broken heart by the authors, Louise Hay and David Hessler.   Amazing affirmations to read and re read everyday.    I highly recommend it.   She also gave me a substance to burn for SMUDGING.....Spirituality

So, I will be smudging my BEDROOM until the smoke detector goes off!!!!

Good Morning,

     I have stepped away for a couple of days, still trying to figure this out... lol.  

I have to say that I learned something about myself over the weekend.   I was at an awesome party, four bands, DJ, and a barbecue that never quit.   Clearly the best summer party.   A man approached me and was trying to impress me with the purchases of all of his "boy toys".   Please stop, I was thinking to myself.  Talk to the hand!!!! I told him, money is something I never had and something I never want, well maybe a little money, but point being, I want your time and love.  I'm just a simple girl who has little needs.  A simple picked flower or a nice smile.   That's it!!! 

Cheers to the simple things!!!

  I Wake up every morning saying OUT LOUD, new day, new me, new day, new me...  My best friend and confident, Charlie - Cavalier king Charles- looks at me all excited as to say, me too mommy????  Yes Charlie, a new day and new beginning for both of us!!  
To be honest with you, I have never written my feelings out let alone on a public blog but I am feeling the good vibes already.  Even if nobody reads it, its good for my soul.

Hi, and welcome to my blog! My name is Suzie, I'm a single mom raising 3 kids, two dogs, and any stray kitten that needs a home.
This is my first blog, a friend talked me into starting a blog, and although I feel I have nothing to share with the world, she seems to think differently. Maybe it's because I am going through a divorce, hate my job, and find myself most times 'Desperately seeking Suzie'. Gotta be a mid-life crisis they tell me. That was after I colored the ends of my hair a pale pink; it really was a pretty pink, honestly!

My intentions for my blog is to share something hopeful, and uplifting. I am on a spiritual path and I believe when something bad happens to us, the universe is telling us something. It is pointing us in another direction. I can fight it, or Let It Be and surrender.

 I want to share my thoughts, my journey and hopefully hear your stories on how you recovered from a divorce. I am on a new chapter in my life and hoping we can learn from each other and begin a new day.
